Q2 2024 Android Performance of Top Food Delivery Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the US food delivery service apps have shown varying trends in downloads and user activity on the Android platform. Here's a glimpse into how each app fared, according to Sensor Tower's data.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery showed a fluctuating download pattern, starting at 58K in the first week of April and dipping to a low of 44K in June before rebounding to 64K. Weekly active users began at 1.03M, peaked at 1.2M mid-quarter, and closed the period at a slightly lower 1.08M.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a similar trend in downloads, with an initial 51K that rose to 60K in May and finished with a spike at 61K. The app's weekly active users started at 601K, reached a high of 696K, and rounded out the quarter at 638K.

The companion app, Uber Eats Orders, maintained lower download figures, ranging from 2.2K to 3.3K, indicating a more niche user base. Weekly active users hovered around the 22K-24K mark throughout the quarter.

DoorDash - Food Delivery had modest download numbers, beginning at 1.1K and peaking at 1.2K twice in the quarter. Its weekly active users saw a slight increase from 17K to 18K over the same period.

Lastly, DoorDash - Dasher downloads remained under 1K for most weeks, with a slight rise in June. Weekly active users showed a more positive trajectory, increasing from 7.4K to 8.1K by the quarter's end.
